The Building

A city façade lies beneath your feet. Above it, an enormous mirror turns the floor into a wall. Step onto the brickwork, look up, and change your avatar’s pose to become part of the impossible scene.

WASD / arrows to walk · drag to look
Touch: move on the left · look on the right

Independent interpretation of the 2023 installation. The façade details and visitor participation follow the documentation; dimensions, mirror angle and entrance-hall geometry are estimated. Your blue-clad avatar moves with you on the façade. Use P to change its pose.

Walk on the flat building model or around its sides. Raised fire-escape railings and the low end of the mirror block movement. This is a façade, not an enterable apartment building. The avatar’s lying poses recreate visitor participation while your camera stays at a comfortable viewing height.
