Anna Barlik and Marcin Strzała, with curator Jacek Sosnowski. Polish Pavilion, 18th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice, 2023.
The official exhibition description identifies four life-size home frameworks made from almost 2,000 metres of coloured steel profiles. Their overlap translates housing data into physical space. The VernissageTV report identifies the source locations as Hong Kong, Mexico, Poland and Malawi.
The pavilion’s architectural description gives an 8 × 25 m exhibition hall with truncated corners, white walls, a milky glazed skylight, transverse ceiling bays and sand-coloured square tiles. The building, designed by Brenno Del Giudice, dates to 1932.
The official installation photographs were inspected for the four colours, relative frame heights, doors and window rails, blue mesh enclosure, grated stair, skirting, ceiling grilles, roof beams and perimeter wall texts. Photographs 19 and 34 show the stair from below and above. They do not establish an unrestricted public route on the upper level.
The supplied film page and accompanying report were inspected. Its direct video was blocked by the browser, so this model does not claim frame-by-frame verification of the film or a complete verified visitor itinerary. Walking is limited to the ground floor; the blue stair and elevated platform are scenery. Open frame doors and the perimeter are accessible in the simulation. Low steel thresholds are automatically stepped over; posts and waist-high rails stop movement.
All rendered geometry, materials and the catalogue thumbnail are generated by this project. No source photographs, film frames, audio or video have been redistributed or used as textures.
